The root of all Dominican life is prayer. Several types of prayer we discussed: standing, bowing, sitting, genuflecting, contemplation, steps in Lectio Divina, centering prayer, Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father, the rosary, novenas, litanies, prayers before meals, morning and night prayers, and simply talking to God.
